TO WHAT PURPOSE?

What is your purpose? For today? For life?

Everyone ultimately seeks to discover and know their purpose. The questions, "What is my purpose?" and "What is the purpose of life?" have been asked for eons. There is a universal longing to know the answers.

To know your purpose is to have a compass for life. It can guide and direct your every thought, decision and action. The compass of purpose points to meaning, joy and aliveness.

Having a purpose is having a compelling reason. This is important for everything from a conversation to a business.

Life Purpose and the Purpose of Life are more global. One is the meta-purpose for the other. Both are overarching purposes for everything in your life.

The Purpose of Life and Your Life Purpose

The purpose of life - the Divine Purpose - is more life and life more abundant.

Almost all spiritual paths and great teachers have delivered their own version of the purpose of life. Jesus said, "I come that they might have life and have it more abundantly." The Buddha focused on the removal of suffering caused by wrong thinking.

In our time the Dali Lama, wrote that the purpose of life is happiness. Abraham of The Law of Attraction said that it is joy.

Joy, as well as love, truth, beauty and abundance are innate to Life, part of the greater purpose. The removal of suffering releases the blocks to the flow of Life within an individual, a family or a nation. And therefore to a life of greater joy and love.

Your Life Purpose is that which you have to be and do to feel fully alive.

It is who you are meant to be, what you are meant to do and the impact you are meant to have. It is the area of your greatest potential and fulfillment. You have to be who you really are and do what you are meant to do to feel fully alive.

Your Life Purpose is encoded in your soul - unique to you - and is designed to serve the Divine Purpose. The ninth of The Ten Commandments of Greatness(TM) states, "Only you can be who you are, do what you do the way you do it and have the impact you are meant to have."

Knowing and living your Life Purpose can transform your life. If you are an entrepreneur or artist, it will transform your business and your work. It will call forth your natural gifts and talents and infuse your life and your business with meaning. It is the realm from which your mission will arise. It will guide and direct your attention, decisions and actions.

If you know your purpose, embrace it and follow it with all your heart. The path to its unfolding expression will be made clear each step of the way. Take each step as it is shown and the next will be revealed.

If you are not yet clear about what it is, choose a purpose that makes you come alive and that contributes to more life and life more abundant. And follow that with all your heart.

Aliveness itself could be your purpose for now. Aliveness then becomes the touchstone for all that you do. Does this make me feel more alive? Does this contribute to aliveness for others? Does this remove obstacles to aliveness?

The secret to life is to do what makes you come alive. Your purpose is naturally infused with aliveness, with Life. Living your purpose exponentially increases your aliveness and serves the greater purpose of more life and life more abundant.

If you don't know your purpose, do what makes you come alive - that will guide you to it and the process will be magnificent.
